RUSSIA-UKRAINE WAR TACTICAL SUMMARY

Despite the increase in operational tempo, Russian advances were contained, and Ukrainian forces made several advances.

In the Lyptsi-Vovchansk area of operation (AO) in the Kharkiv Oblast, Russian forces have crossed the Vovcha River into western Vovchansk after making multiple attempts.

In the Borova AO, Ukrainian forces advanced into southern Kruhlyakivka, putting additional pressure on the Russian bridgehead at the Oskil River.

In the Kreminna AO of the Luhansk Oblast, Ukrainian forces made additional gains in southern Yampolivka [Donetsk].

In the Pokrovsk AO in the southwestern part of the Donetsk Oblast, the situation is deteriorating east of Myrnohrad. The Russian advance into Razine has been confirmed, and Mykolaivka is now contested.

In the Novopavlivka AO, Ukrainian forces have full control of Dachne [Dnipropetrovsk] and regained control of Yalta. Russian troops advanced into Zirka, and there were three dubious flag-wavings in Piddubne.

Reports from GSAFU do not support social media reports of a major Russian offensive in the Zaporizhzhia Oblast near Orikhiv.

The United States announced it was restarting military aid to Ukraine after President Trump and his counterpart, Zelenskyy, had what Trump called a very "strategic" phone conversation.

The European update includes Hungary, the Netherlands, Poland, and Germany.

The Middle East update includes Iran, Israel, the Palestinian Territories, Syria, and Yemen.

The Africa update includes Burkina Faso, Mali, Niger, and Togo.

The Asia and Oceania update includes South Korea.

The Americas update includes the United States.
